World Run Day is an annual event that aims to connect runners and encourage them to positively impact their communities. On this day, thousands of people in hundreds of cities worldwide unite their passion for fitness with their desire to help others. Runners of all persuasions and inclinations come together to share a group run, and recognize the occasion by donating to their favorite charity.
This year, Everlater and A Runner’s Guide to Europe are teaming up to bring this World Run Day to fellow runners, walkers, and active travelers in the Denver / Boulder community.
Please join us on Sunday, November 8, to participate in the Everlater / Runner’s Guide to Europe World Run Day fun group run. We will meet at 9:30 a.m. in Boulder's City Park, across the street from the Dushanbe Tea House. The run will begin at 10 a.m. Our 5K and 10K courses will head up through Boulder Canyon and return through the town streets.
Because World Run Day promotes running and international giving, we are asking participants to consider making a donation to their favorite international education or other global non-profit on the day of the event. The recommended donation amount is $10.
We extend a special welcome to members of the Institute of International Education and the Foundation for Asia Pacific Education.
Event T-shirts can be purchased through the national organizers on the World Run Day website. For more information, please e-mail Taylor at runnersguideeurope@gmail.com. Thanks, and happy running!
This event is co-organized by Everlater, the newest tool by which to record, share, and discover travel experiences, and A Runner's Guide to Europe. the first active travel guide with all the information about running culture and specific routes in 48 cities across the Continent.
